In Namibia, spessartite garnet is found in the Otjua and Usakos area and is known for its vibrant orange color and high quality. Nigeria is also known for producing spessartite garnet, the state of Nasarawa, for example, is known for producing spessartite garnet with a deep red-orange color which is highly sought after by collectors and jewelers.

Spessartine Garnet from Tanzania is found in the Merelani Hills, and it's also known for its vibrant orange color, it's often mixed with another garnet species called tsavorite that gives it a greenish hue.
